SAVE THE DATE 28.08 Annual Chamber Cup 2014

On Thursday August 28th the annual Chamber Cup golf tournament will be held at GR golf course in Reykjavik – map here, which is considered to be one of the best courses in Iceland.

The weather forecast is good and a temperature of 19 degrees is expected.

All members of the American, Artic British, Danish, Faroe, Finish, France, German, Greenlandic, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish - Icelandic Chambers of Commerce, ICC as well as the Iceland Chamber of Commerce are welcome.

the icing on the cake - Annual Chamber Cup


A group tournament, the Chamber Cup, will be held alongside the regular tournament. Individuals who want to participate in the tournament register as a representative of one of the chambers.

Three best scores according to the stableford scoring system (with handicap) count from each chamber. The chamber that has the best score wins the Chamber Cup.

Note that there is no limit to the number of participants representing each Chamber but the minimum requirement is three representatives.

Members of all the international chambers are especially encouraged to register to ensure that the sufficient number of participants is reached.



About the tournament

·         Stableford competition with handicap

·         Individual  prizes Awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last place

·         Chamber Cup Team Award  (see above)

·         Closest to the hole on all par 3's.

·         Additional price for the lowest score in stroke play

·         Price for the best use of the course

9.900 ISK per person (Golf and dinner)
5000 ISK for dinner or golf only.


Practical stuff

Itiniary: First tee time: 13:00 hours
Last tee time: 14:30 (estimated)
Dinner in the club house after play: 19.30 hour
